Namibia is north of the Northern Cape, and is renown for its most amazing contrasts and beautiful landscapes.  

By far the greatest attraction is the Namib Desert, likely the oldest desert in the world.  It has an array of beautifully high dunes and wide open spaces, also a wonderful coast line.

Another feature is the Etosha National Park, which is the third largest in Africa. 

Swakopmund is another splendid place to visit, know to experience all seasons in just one day.

Namibia has one of the lowest population densities in the world and boasts more than a decade of peace.  The capital is Windhoek.  Namibia still carries a culture of German.
